FERS disability retirement asks a narrower question than diagnosis: whether a mental health condition prevents an employee from performing the duties of their specific federal position. OPM requires documentation connecting symptoms to occupational impairment, not simply a treatment summary.

Who This Is For

Fee
FERS evaluations start at $3,500. Records requiring separate review are billed at $350. This is a private-pay service; insurance is not billed.
