A VA claim built on a mental health condition rises or falls on documentation. What the VA needs is a diagnosis mapped to its own rating criteria, symptom severity tied to occupational and social impairment, and, where the claim requires it, a clear opinion on service connection.
This Is a Private Evaluation, Not a VA-Scheduled Exam
When the VA schedules a Compensation and Pension examination, that exam is arranged and paid for by the VA through a contracted examiner, and you do not choose who conducts it. This is different. You or your representative retain us directly, the evaluation is private-pay, and the resulting report is yours to submit as evidence in support of your claim.
Veterans pursue a private evaluation for several reasons: a C&P exam that felt rushed or did not capture the full picture, a need for evidence supporting an increased rating, a supplemental claim after a denial, or simply wanting a thorough, unhurried evaluation before the VA schedules its own.
Nexus Letters
A nexus letter addresses whether a current mental health condition is at least as likely as not related to military service, or secondary to an already service-connected condition.
We do not write standalone nexus letters. The opinion follows from a full evaluation: records review, diagnostic interview, and testing where indicated. That foundation is what makes the opinion credible.
What the Evaluation Includes

No. A C&P exam is scheduled and paid for by the VA. This is a private evaluation you retain directly and may submit as additional evidence.

No. A nexus opinion is provided only as part of a complete evaluation so that it is supported by records, interview, and testing where indicated.

No. The VA makes all rating decisions. The evaluation provides thorough, objective documentation for the VA to consider.

No. Disability documentation evaluations are private-pay services rather than treatment billed to insurance.
Review of service treatment, VA treatment, personnel, and prior C&P records
Comprehensive diagnostic interview using DSM-5-TR criteria
Psychological testing, including validity measures
Completion of the relevant Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ)
Functional impact mapped to VA occupational and social impairment criteria
A supported nexus opinion where the claim calls for one
Who This Is For
Veterans pursuing an initial claim, increased rating, or supplemental claim involving PTSD, depression, anxiety, or another mental health condition. We work directly with veterans and with accredited representatives and attorneys.
What We Do Not Do
We do not conduct agency-contracted examinations, court-ordered evaluations, or forensic evaluations related to criminal or custody matters.
An independent evaluation is objective. The opinion reflects what the record and evaluation support. We cannot guarantee a particular finding or claim outcome.
